Alrighty well right now we are sitting in a very hot South Dakota rv repair shop waiting... So I thought I might let you all know what we have been up to....

Our third day we went to Badlands National Park and without a doubt that place is one of the weirdest and most fascinating places around. Hopefully we can upload pictures soon but our pictures really can't describe the sheer size and beauty.

After Badlands we went to Custer state park in the heart of the South Dakota Black Hills. On our way in we came within a foot or two of hitting an absolutely massive bull bison! And once we arrived at our camp site we learned that the bison come through the camp almost every night.

We camped at Legion Lake and both the lake and the surrounding mountains were just amazing. The next day we drove through the park and saw around 1000 buffalo; they seemed to like standing along the road the best! We also saw a lot of pronghorn out on the prairie. In addition, there seemed to be deer everywhere and in one particular instance we counted 180 whitetail deer in about 45 minutes!

Last night we camped at Stockade Lake which is also in Custer. This morning we packed up and drove up to Mt. Rushmore and WOW is that amazing! How they took mere pictures of men and transposed them to huge figures is quite incredible! Of course it is very commercialized but it was definitely worth going to see!

Alrighty well we got the water pump fixed so now we're on the road again toward Wyoming! Lord willing we'll find somewhere to fix our generator along the way!

Hoping to post pictures soon!

UPDATE: We are perfectly fine :) The water pump issue was the pump for the sink and toilet water (not the engine pump)  Our generator is not working but we will survive :)
