We arrived late on the 16th (Wednesday night) at Mom's aunt and uncle's place just outside of John Day Oregon. We stayed there at Jim and Jean's house until Friday afternoon, at which time we drove the 45 minutes out to the main attraction, elk camp! During our stay at Jim and Jean's we were invited in for several very yummy meals that were greatly appreciated!
After arriving at elk camp and setting up camp the hunters hit the woods in search of the very elusive elk. Unfortunately we don't have many pictures of the hunters decked out in their hunting attire as they were not seen much in camp during daylight hours. But hopefully some of these pictures will give you an idea of what camp life was like.

Currently we are at an rv park in southern Utah and the wifi connection is extremely slow so it looks like this is all the pictures we will be able to upload at this time. We DO however have quite a lot more that we will upload later.
For those of you that really wanted to know and didn't hear already, Dad was successful in getting a nice cow elk! So we are coming home with a lot of meat! :) Pictures to follow!
We are seeing some crazy awesome places!
What great pictures and memories - it looks beautiful! Kyle and Justin liked the picture of Micah - Kyle says "good shot, Micah - what did they taste like?!" ha ha
