Thank the Lord the fire ban was lifted and we enjoyed a blazing fire every night!
First elk in camp! :) another hunter from camp got this very nice cow elk and most of the camp got to help him bring it in!

Got to end the week with a great view of the lunar eclipse! This picture doesn't really do it justice of course but it was pretty neat to say the least.
So that was about the extent of our time at elk camp. We came back Saturday night and attended church with Leland's and Wayne's on Sunday. We were then invited over to Jean and Jim's for another night before butchering up the two elk and deer.
We will make another post all about Dad's elk!
